Mythlings collects no data about you or your child. None. There is no account to make, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party code in the app.
What the app collects
Nothing. Mythlings does not ask for a name, an email address, an age, a photo, a location or a contact. It does not read your device identifiers. It does not build a profile of your child, and it has nothing to send anywhere because it never gathers anything in the first place.
The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting service, no advertising network, and no social or third-party software development kits of any kind.
Tracking
Mythlings does not track you. It does not use the Advertising Identifier, it does not link any data to your identity, and it does not share data with data brokers or advertisers. Nothing in the app follows a child across other apps or websites.
The internet
The app works completely offline. It contacts no server of ours, because we run none.
The one exception is Apple's own App Store service, which the app talks to for the optional purchase described below — to fetch the local price, to complete a purchase, and to check whether a purchase already exists on your Apple Account.
The purchase
Mythlings offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks six additional worlds. That purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.
- Payment details go to Apple. We never see, receive or store your card number, your billing address, or your Apple Account details.
- All we can learn is whether this device is entitled to the unlocked worlds — a yes or a no, held by Apple and read by the app when it starts.
- There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
- The purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, and shared with your family through Family Sharing.
Apple's handling of your payment is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not by this one.
Children
Mythlings is made for young children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, which is the strongest answer we can give to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and the GDPR's rules on children's data.
There is no chat, no user-generated content, no way for a child to contact anyone, no advertising, no external links inside the play screens, and no notifications trying to pull a child back into the app.
Your rights
Rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data all rely on there being personal data to act on. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to look up, hand over or erase. Deleting the app removes it and everything in it from your device.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any such change would have to be a substantial change to the app itself.
